I was a little hesitant because of the price - but this is the perfect stool/seat for our bathroom. The shelf can be used for rolled towels, toilet paper etc; I got it because my elderly Mother was having to use our bathroom and I needed a place for her to be able to sit down after her shower so she could apply lotions etc; It is very well built - teak is alway beautiful.
