I can easily move large planters around the deck to 'follow the sun' as the seasons change. They also help protect the painted surface of the deck.

These plastic casters are perfect for the soil loaded, heavy planting bed. Moving it our old lumpy deck is no problem.

Bought these to add to my elevated garden box. Keep it on my deck for easy kitchen access. Grow herbs, lettuces & flowers. Really handy and the casters are great for moving the garden box out of the heavy rains.

I've had trouble with squirrels getting in my raised gardens and eating everything. I bought a garden on legs, but bought the casters so the garden could move easier. They went in well, but I was a bit skeptical they would move well once the garden was heavy with dirt. So far they have performed well and I've been able to reposition the garden away from things the squirrels can use to get to the plants.
