I was interested in a live Christmas tree this past season, and a dwarf Alberta spruce fit the ticket. But, since I live in CO there are plenty of greenhouse/nurseries to choose from right here in Colorado Spgs.

Next year I will just buy a tree locally and probably get more of tree for my money.

However, your cheery little tree is still brightly lighting up my front porch window. I did enjoy it, just thought is was rather pricey. Suzanne

This was a gift for my brother and his wife for Christmas.

Because of a very serious accident in the family, no Christmas tree was purchased and this spruce really added to the holiday lack of decorations.

sent this to my aunt for the holidays, she doesn't sent up a tree anymore. it was perfect for her. she loves to garden and it was the right size for her to display without having to move alot of things around. she also liked that it can be planted in the spring. i will probably do the same thing next year.

used as gift... cute and wonderful temporary decoration, however it leaks when watered and may not survive the winter as I am afraid it will dry up ... thus too expensive for just a temporary decoration

Initially, I didn't think this little tree would make it to Christmas[...] it dropped needles like crazy and the overall appearance was sparse. There are two very noticable bare spots on the tree. I called Gardener's Supply the next day and they did record my information and agreed to make good on my purchase if the tree didn't perk up by the holiday.I gave this sad little tree lots of water and TLC and monititored it closely. At long last, after nearly a month of care, there are some green sprouts appearing at the top of the tree. Yes, it's going to live afterall! I hope it continues to thrive so that we can plant it in our yard come spring. I feel I did a good deed by accepting this frail little tree. It cetainly wouldn't have been chosen by any customer who had seen it in person. It's doubtful if I would ever order a live tree on-line again, so I'll just chalk this one up as a live and learn experience.[...]It is my every hope that this was an isolated incident and that any future purchases from Gardener's Supply will be more pleasant ones.

I sent this tree to my 83 year old Grandmother who is an avid gardener for Christmas. She loved it! She got a kick out of all the mini decorations and she got many compliments on it.
