Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
The product does not have a support bar under the lower tray. My six (6) small bonsai trees in plastic pots cause the tray to form a concave trench along the length of the tray. I will have to cut metal strips to support the tray.
Otherwise, it is an excellent product for its construction, weight and ease of light adjustment as to the similar items I have purchased from you in the past 20 years.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
The two tier compact grow garden might be fine once assembled- but assembly is a nightmare. My husband is a carpenter and handy - was so frustrated with the manual and complicated instructions. and unusual sentence structure..."to disconnect the power before installation to escape electric shock." The holes for the screws did not align and he had to use a power drill to make new ones for the unit to stand upright. The manual is 8 pages long with an extra page on the installation of the lights.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
The 2 Tier SunLite Garden is very well designed grow system. Assembly could have been easier with better instructions. I assembled it alone in 2.5 hours. Also the metal clips that secure the ballasts aren't the best. I feel like ballasts will come loose if they are jarred.
The frame is attractive and sturdy. The casters make it easy to move the unit. It has ample room for taller plants. I will use this for scion rooting, tomatoes and herbs.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
I purchased a very similar product from Gardener's about 10 years ago ago (now discontinued) when living in a small Boston apartment. It worked great then for seed starting prior to planting them on my balcony. When I moved to a house in the South and needed someplace to grow my African Violets, without burning them in the harsh Southern sunlight, I pulled it out of storage and it works for those too. My AV collection has since grown and I recently purchased the current model grow stand to expand my collection. Assembly took about 1.5 hours, by myself, with very little reading of the directions- I mostly used my memory of my first stand and the pictures included in the directions. The light fixtures seem a little less durable (they actually bent during the shipping process), but definitely lighter, on the new model and I'm disappointed that I can no longer use standard fluorescent lights from the hardware store for the new model. Overall, the product is a good one and I would purchase another one if I expand my AV collection. Assembly tips: Use transparent tape around the ends of the pull chains to add rigidity to the pull chains when stringing them through the holes in stand.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
Using your plantlights to house growing collection of Orchids that over ran my window space. All doing well. Bought one last year and liked it so well (and so did the orchids) that I added another to my basement space this season. Have seen the comments about difficulty in construction but have NOT had any difficulty. Only problems I encountered were because I read ahead in the instructions and missed something but even so I assembled them in less then 2 hours each with the minor assistance of my 89 yr old mother (to hold it upright when completing frame.)

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
I saw reviews stating difficult to assemble. I found it very easy to follow instructions and assemble.
Summer in South FL is not the best growing season. I found it works well for fresh herbs (cilantro) that do not hold up the the HOT summer.
The only "flaw" I found so far are the plastic devices that keep the lights suspended to required hight. One of mine does not hold well and the light drops at times.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
Suffice it to say that there are some nuances of assembling this thing that are not mentioned in the poorly illustrated instructions. Better at least double the one hour time they say it will take. And be handy. Your grandma would have a tough time.

Comments about Standard 2-Tier SunLite® Garden:
Ten years ago I ordered a similar system from Gardeners. It was dismal and I returned it. Never found a replacement and this year decided to give Gardeners another try. Very happy that I did.
It arrived promptly, well packaged, all parts included and in excellent condition. Assembly was moderately difficult. Instructions and diagrams adequate. Mild discrepencies between instructions and actual product. 2 1/2 hours. Fit and finish very good. Cord on upper light tends to unbalance the hood but can be easily fixed by attaching the cord to the upright with a twistie as one fix.
I have not found a better system in a very long search and if you know of one let me know. This is an A-
