This grow light joins a collection I have been amassing for the past 10 years. Over the years, the light fixtures seem to be getting lighter in weight, which is nice, but a bit wobbly/flimsy, which concerns me since I do, indeed, hope to use this fixture for many years to come. For now though, it's working well and is a welcome addition to my grow light world!

I replaced an old 4-tube flourescent shop light fitted with grow lights with this. This product is many times brighter and more lightweight than the old heavy 4-tube shop light. My plants are already much happier, and I will never by an old school flourescent fixture again.

The light was great last year. I have just put it up for this year, and it will not turn on. The fixture shows there is power going to it, but the lights will not turn on. A very expensive way to grow seeds for just one year.

we replaced 4 single lights with 4 of these doubles. The extra light they produce is a good thing, but these lights are poorly made. They have no end on the shade, which makes them flimsy (the pictures hide that fact). the clips that hold the lights are too small and flimsy. if you aren't very careful handling the shade, the bulbs will fall out; even raising and lowering the lights can cause a bulb to drop out. Others have commented on the awful instructions.Our lights arrived with no chains. GS staff were friendly, but after waiting a week for the chains I got some at [@]. Then one of the ballast units failed after 1 day, and I'm still waiting 12 days later for the replacement. My opinion of GS has diminished as a result of these faulty lights and the long time to get me new parts. Come on, you can find better lights than these lemons.

I started all of my vegetables and some flowers indoor this winter. The plants are as healthy as anything I could buy at a garden center. It really helps get the garden started early if you have the space to spread it all out!
