Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
The item itself is of strong metal and well-made. Use it off kitchen window to hold bird-feeder. Perfect!
Our raccoons climb on it at night and I have to keep re-hanging the feeder, but that is not the fault of the nifty hanger.

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
I move a lot of my bird feeders from the corner of the yard up to the deck during the winter, but have a problem w/the squirrels easily climbing the deck-mounted metal brackets. This has, so far, kept them off of the feeder. It is easy to set up, but is heavier than other brackets, but I guess it needs to be in order to perform so well. I really like how it swivels for easy refills. I would recommend this product.

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
We'll have to modify our deck railing to stabilize the arm. The fact that I can swing the birdfeeder within reach, yet have the hulls fall to the ground rather than on the deck is brilliant.

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
The arm does not attach securely to the deck railing. After I attach the bird feeder to it, it pulls the screw on bottom of railing almost completely off the railing. I've tightened it so much the screw is actually screwing into the wood and it still is very precarious. I keep expecting to see it lying on the ground. It's a great idea, but not sure how to make it more secure.

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
Good design but we apparently had a racoon try to climb out on it and bent the screw adjustment to the railing clip. We unbent and added a tie down to the railing to prevent further bending.

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
I hang two types of bird feeders from this hanger - the tube and cage. Neither are squirrel proof and the squirrels run right along the hanger to feeders. I covered the arm with 2 litre soda bottles by drilling a hole in the bottom of each bottle. Squirrels cannot stay on the bottles. Problem solved!

Comments about Swing-Arm Rail Hanger:
Didn't measure before ordering...almost couldn't use for our deck. We've enjoyed watching the birds up close, and so have our grandchildren!

This product is very heavy. It is made in the U.S.A.! It should last forever.
