Don't talk yourself into putting plants where they won't thrive! Know for sure which places in your garden and yard are shade, partial shade, partial sun, or full sun. Plant a single-use SunStick on a sunny day; at the end of the day, the color of the "flower" will tell you which plants will thrive, and which won't survive. Absent-minded? Flower will retain its color, in case you forget it till the next day.

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
What was I thinking! Spent the day relaxing and check the sun every hour or so. This was a waste of money.

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
Kind of like one of those difficult pregnancy tests--hard to tell what color you are seeing and comparing it to the chart. Also, if you'd like to repeat the test, there are no more stickers. You wouldn't use these in obvious full sun or fully shade, so the subtleties are what you need help with. Helped a little but not as I had hoped.

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
What a joke. Glad they were inexpensive. Put them out but really could not tell the color to match to the paper. Results didn't make sense based on areas. Worth a try but not worth the money.

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
Love the idea and price point, but I guess you get what you pay for. I placed these in many different light conditions - yet there was very little color difference in the "solar patches" at the end of the day. Might be a fun thing for children to do.
Product could use some improvement.

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
I could not figure out which spot in my yard would be the best for my vegetables. I have tried a few areas already with little success. The SunStick meter helped me discover where I had the most light and my vegetables did much better last year than before.

I loved this product! I have always struggled with the sunlight in my backyard because of various trees. I was always trying to figure out the best place to put different pereniels. I used all three tests and finally figured out where the most sun is for my roses and where the deep shade versus part-sun is. I moved my plants accordingly and I think they'll thrive much more. I'm puttng in a new bed in the front and found out it only gets about 5 hours of sunlight - I thought it had more. Great gift too!

Comments about SunStick®, 3 Pack:
I am not sure about the accuracy of the sun sticks. I was excited to use these to verify the areas that I thought are in partial sun versus full sun. No matter where I placed them it seems they all read partial sun/shade even in areas I know are in full sun. So not sure I would recommend these.
