This hat is better than ones I have purchased elsewhere. Since it has an adjustable tie string inside, it allows me to custom fit it to my head. Other hats have blown off on windy days, but this one stays in place. It protects both my face and neck.

Hard to find this color and style so was very pleased with this! Have it in white and wanted a second hat... Perfect for keeping sun off the nose and face and light enough that it is not hot on the head. Very well constructed and will be much appreciated come the sunny weather.
I use it for sun protection whenever I am outside.
It covers my face and the back of my neck well. I would like it if it had ties though. The wind can catch it and blow it off.

I love, love, love this hat. It is wide enough to protect your face and neck but not too wide that it gets it the way. It fits great and retains shape even after the abuse I put it through. Added bonus, it's cute. I would buy it again.

Great for working in the garden. Adjustable fit keeps it in place - not to big like other hats. Protects my ears and neck from the hot sun.
This is the best sun-protection hat I've ever owned. The fabric is much softer & comfortable than other SPF hats, and I don't get as hot while wearing it (even in the 100+ degree weather we've had this summer). I will be ordering another!

I've been looking, for a good long while, for a sun hat that really works. Am glad I saw your description of this hat. The brim is just right for covering the back of the neck, not so broad that it gets in the way when working. It's readily packable and can be taken on vacations.
One question I have is whether it's washable. Descrption seems to indicate it may not be: "spot clean".
