I bought this to replace vertical blinds which I detest. Whatever I used had to stand up against Northwestern winds in winter, despite the sliders being thermopane. Also with just a touch of reddish terra cotta it matches everything else in the dining room.

We have a family room with a wood stove. We have two sliding glass doors that are great in the summer and lose a ton of heat in the winter. These curtains are well insulated and are definitely helping to reduce our energy consumption.
The insulated curtains are very effective on a huge window in our house. They are goodlooking, too, unlike many others I have considered purchasing.
