The one that's working is great -- turns right on as soon as I approach the stairs. The one on the second staircase worked for a week, then stopped. I need to take it apart to check what's wrong.

Using these to light our deck stairs. The light they give off is bright and directed perfectly down onto the stairs. I was amazed at how bright they were. The motion sensor works but not too sensitive that it comes on too often. Was so pleased that I'll be buying more for camp.

We use these to light the stairs outside our home for us and our dogs. Provide quite a bit of light. The batteries were a slight challenge and you have to set them just right but once you get them in properly they work quite well. Area of sensitivity to turn on is quite good, too.

We placed the lights on the banister posts, top & bottom. Works every time with more than adequate lighting. We have seniors in the family, too, and the bottom steps were always difficult to see, prevents falls. Very eco-frfiendly.

For the safety of us and our old dog, I have mounted 3 of these lights in our indoor stairway. Since they trigger on from about 6 feet away, we all move safely up and down the stairs any time of day! Even put one in our entry from the garage as it is pitch dark. Not any more! They are far brigher than I expected which allowed me to use fewer in each situation.
