Sent my sister plant and it bloomed for months - I've had your Amaryllis before and they were beautiful - this year it arrived dumped over - I've carefully watered it etc. and I am still waiting for a sign of growth. I had great expectations as the bulbs are hugh.

My first amaryllis was a gift from good friends after knee replacement and has given me much joy. I've admired their numerous amaryllis plants over the years and was pleasantly surprised when mine arrived and was so easy to care for. It started blooming a couple of days ago and it's just gorgeous with it's 6 inch blooms.

This was an excellent choice for a gift to a friend living far away. I didn't have to go to the post office or even wrap it. She loved watching it grow and bloom and certainly enjoyed the splash of color in the wintry weather. I only wish I had ordered it earlier so that it could have bloomed for Christmas.

This item arrived Nov.17,2009. I followed instructions for water/sun . As of today[12-15] it has grown about 1", showing 1flower bud and a set of leaves on each bulb. I do not expect blooms by Christmas. I am very disappointed in this product.
