Standing Heated Birdbath Provides Fresh Water to Keep Birds Healthy Year-Round
- Provide birds with much-needed fresh water in all types of weather
- Built-in thermostat conserves electricity
- Includes four-prong ground stake
Birds need access to water in winter as much as in summer. In addition to drinking, birds use water for their frequent grooming, otherwise, their feathers can’t insulate against winter’s cold. Insulated plastic bowl holds 2 quarts.
- Powder-coated steel, plastic
- Bowl is 13-1/2" in diameter x 2" H
- 37-1/2" H; approx. 35" H installed
- 75-watt heater
- Holds 2 quarts
- Cord tucks away for birdbath use in summer months

Comments about Standing Heated Birdbath:
Place the birdbath where the birds are somewhat protected from frigid winds and predators as they bathe; we have ours close to the back of the house (and an outlet), next to an ornamental tree, where they can fly if threatened.

Comments about Standing Heated Birdbath:
This heated birdbath is adequate, but because of its small diameter post and weak "feet", I drove a half-inch diameter metal rod into the ground and slipped the supplied hollow post over it (we have strong wind sometimes and aggressive gray squirrels). I added a smallish flat stone in the middle to give birds something to land on. So far, so good.

Comments about Standing Heated Birdbath:
The water dish only holds about 2 pints of water which diappears within hours of filling. Plus there isn't much of a lip for the birds to stand on. I never saw a single bird use it. I bought this so I wouldn't have to go out in the hold every day to fill the bird bath. I ended up just using my regular bird bath and de-icing it every day.

Comments about Standing Heated Birdbath:
My husband cleaned out the plastic interior, thinking the surface kept birds away. Still no birds. there are feeders not far from it which they visit, but they still totally ignore the birdbath.

Comments about Standing Heated Birdbath:
This bath is right outside our kitchen and living room window so we can see the birds using it all the time. The other day my husband saw water flying higher than the window. The birds really appreciate the bath in this colder weather. I am going to get another one soon!
