We purchased this product for my parents who are in their 80's. It has been great for them and they are enjoying it. My only concern is that it is growing mold on the side and I am not sure how this can be prevented

Comments about Standing Garden:
We bought the standing garden as a quick, simple means of establishing a small vegetable plot at our vacation home. We are particularly interested in seeing if the deer will leave the garden alone, as they are very pesty in this area.

Love that I can dig in the dirt live in a high rise, too. Very pretty to look at. Simple to assemble but save yourself some trouble & pre-drill the holes even though the instructions say you don't need to.

Comments about Standing Garden:
I bought this for my wife with the thought that she'd keep it on the patio and plant herbs in it to have nearby and get rid of all the store pots. She decided she wanted to plant petunias and vines in it. The petunias are full and look great and the vines are happy.
She packed this tight so I think these little boogers are water thristy. I find we're having to fill it back up ever 2 days. Thought it'd go a bit longer than that. Then again, you can't see one square inch of dirt.
The wicking strips where missing from my order. Gardeners had them sent and I was up and running a few days later.

Comments about Standing Garden:
I have only begune to use this product . I will know it's real worth after a year. But it is deep enough for some root crops and big enough for beans and peppers and herbs. And maybe high enough to keep some critters from eating my plants!

Comments about Standing Garden:
My girl friends are so envious. I can grow anything and never have to bend over! At my age that is a real bonus! It looks great on my patio and it was fairly easy to put together. I have some tools and basic skills so the reviews regarding difficulty assembling it just didn't apply. I wish I had room for another one.

Comments about Standing Garden:
My daughter got me this for Mother's Day- I've always wanted an herb garden, but dogs inside the fence and deer and javalina outside the fence conspire against me. It's tall enough so that the dogs aren't interested, I notice it outside the window every day so I remember to water it, and it's attractive in the backyard. I really like this product and many people have admired it when they come to the house.

Comments about Standing Garden:
I provide cage free dog boarding in my home and I couldn't keep the dogs out of my plants. So I decided to raise everything. I've purchased 4 of the standing gardens and I am so happy with them. As you can see by the attached photo my herbs are going crazy. In less than a month they have gone from 3 inch pots to herbs on steroids. The other 2 have flowers in them and they are doing great! I live in North Georgia and it can get very hot here in the summer and the sun is brutal. I can't wait to see how everything does when it starts to get really hot.

Comments about Standing Garden:
This container is fantastic if you don't have room in your yard for a raised bed - I set it on our pool hardscape and it works great. It took my husband and I about 30 minutes to assemble, you definitely need two people, but it wasn't difficult. I am growing two tomatoes, one cucumber, a jalapeno and some Swiss chard in it with great success. Love that you can go out of town without asking someone to water your plants.
