Exclusive | Whether Your Tomatoes are Tumbling, Tall or Towering, You Need Our Stackable Ladders

  • Sturdy ladders support plants for a big harvest of unblemished fruit
  • V-shaped design and patented cradle shape support fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • Ideal for raised beds and small-space gardens

We've made our popular Tomato Ladders even better. They still have 7mm steel uprights and our exclusive "plant cradle" crosspieces that give multiple places for vines to rest. But now they're modular and stackable, so you can arrange them any way you like. Each set includes six 32-1/2" tall sections. Use singly to support eggplants and peppers; stack two for bush tomatoes; stack three for tall, indeterminate tomatoes. These are the sturdiest ladders you can buy — 20% thicker than others on the market — with a long-lasting, weatherproof powder coating. (We have some that are 15 years old and still look as good as new.) Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce damage from pests and diseases, and give you a bigger harvest of delicious, unblemished fruit. Ladders nest for compact off-season storage. Choice of Red or Green.

  • Powder-coated steel
  • 6" W x 6" D x 32-1/2" H overall
  • Single is 22" H installed; stacked double is 49" H; triple is 78" H
  • Sturdy 7mm diameter upright supports
  • Patented
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I actually bought this for cucumbers I am growing in planters. These are very well made and not the flimsy tomato cages you normally see. Love the stackability and I can see they would be easy to store, but I wish there was also a larger variety, not in height since the stackability takes care of that, but in width/depth, which is more useful for cucumbers.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

These ladders are very sturdy; a 'one-time' investment but a real money-saver over the long term. We've been using our first couple of sets of 'ladders' for over 7 years now and they're still as good a new, but with the recent enlargement of our garden, we decided to add a few more 'ladders' to our garden. We really like the fact that, when necessary, we can 'stack' these together for our 'indeterminant' varieties of tomatoes. You can't do that with the 'old-fashioned' style cages. So easy to store them at the end of the season, too. We haven't tried them, yet, for cucumbers, but it seems these ladders would work out great for those, too.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I have yet to use the tomato ladders I purchased, but I borrowed my neighbors set last year and had to get my own. The set I bought is exactly the same as the borrowed set as far as quality. I assembled my set in my basement to check them out and I can't wait till it warns up enough for me to use them.

I got tired of using standard ring plant supports that seem to get manufactured flimsier and flimsier every year. I got tired of supporting my tomatoes with stakes and I hate my tomatoes vining all over as a bush.

These ladders are the best if you want up and out of the way plants, with fruits that are visible and aren't rotting on the ground. Include some mulch and a snip and drip system from gardeners and you're all set.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

These will be used to support my cucumbers plants, all my tomatoes and my peppers. The compact structure allows for growth but still provides support as they plant grows up and out. It keeps the food off the ground and makes it easier to pick.

Comments about Stacking Tomato Ladders, Set of 6:

I've used many different types of tomato supports but the ones that are sold at the big box stores are not strong enough and they only last for a few years of usage since they all do get bent out of shape from the weight of the plants and then I need to buy replacements. This tomato ladder appears to be durable and strong enough that will last for years. After this one arrived, was impressed enough to buy another set to give away as a present to another garden friend. Can't wait for this next growing season to use the supports. The only recommendation I have is to have the ladder supports just a bit more wider on both legs.

I am using these towers doubled up for my tomatoes and cantaloupe and single height for my peppers and eggplant. I love the color of red too. I would have given this 5 stars except the rubber plugs that are supposed to fit in the holes to keep water out do not fit. I am worried that without the plugs water will get in and rust the towers. Other than that, a very sturdy, well made tower. I will be buying the one-piece towers from now on, however, due to the plug issue.
