We bought this for our daughters room to add moisture and use for essential oils. It works as expected. I read the other reviews before purchasing and do agree that it is on the noisy side and the red line does wear off. The noise is similar to a fan running and not horrible, more of a white noise to fall asleep to. I resolved the red line issue by measuring the amount of water before using, roughly 3/4 cup and marked a line with a sharpie on the outside for reference. I've used it with peppermint oil to help with colds and it really worked out great. Overall I'm not overwhelmed by the product but satisfied.

My mom got one last year for Christmas and it stopped working after a couple of months. She asked for a new one this year. It didn't work at all. Nothing more embarrassing than giving your mother a Christmas present that doesn't work.

I have been looking for one this size for quite awhile, it is so pleasant I'm going to order another and one for my sister. Its so nice to put frangance in the air without the over powering scents of candles and etc.

Holds only about 3 cups of water, which lasts about 4 hours (depending on your room humidity). Can be noisy (about as much as a cheap humidifier), but the major plus is that you can use it with essential oils, it doesn't take long for the oils to cycle through, so you can easily change scents upon a whim (unlike stick diffusers). Really does a good job of scenting a room quickly. Oh, and the oils quickly erase the fill line, so remember where it is!

I have this in the main office of a school. I change fragrances often, using lavender on hectic days, eucalyptus on stuffy days, and cinnamon during the holidays! It receives RAVE reviews. Everyone asks how they can get one and comment on how wonderful the office smells. Some just come in to sit and relax! Ill students enjoy coming to the office because they say they feel better because of the mist and the soothing smells! Any scent you use is FAB! WONDERFUL PRODUCT INDEED!
Purchased several more and gave some as gifts.

I got this mister for my kitten because she is sneezing from the dry air. I like it because of the humidity and the scent that comes out of it. It is simple for me to use and also works. I use several different oils in it and it makes the air smell great. This is safer than one of those candle oil burners and it is also humidifying so you skin doesn't get dry. The only thing is after a couple of uses I lost the red fill line so that should be fixed but besides that I fill it to where I think it needs to be and it has been working wonderfully. Thinking of getting another.

Didn't want to mess with a full size cold mist humidfier and bought this one for one person use. It isn't big enough for full room use but sitting next to your chair, on your computer desk or on the nightstand it does help with dry nasal passages. The one I use with essential oils has become very noisy at start up but quiets down in a couple of minutes. If you are not looking for something to humidify or fragrance large areas this is a good little unit.

I have actually just unpacked this product and started using it today. It seems a little "cheap" in materials and after an hour it started "pulsing" instead of running evenly.
