At first I was disappointed they were plastic, but it turned out better than I thought. In the dark corners of our front yard they light up nicely, and during the day they look kinda... well cheap - which is good because I don't have to worry about people stealing them.

Even after much tinkering, removing and reinstalling (new) batteries (which is really hard on this particular set); undoing and redoing the wiring etc. this did not work once. An enormous waste of money

I love to sit on the deck at night and watch these change color. They give something to enjoy when it is too dark to see the flowers. They are just fun - even my teenage boys and husband thought they were cool!

These do not necessarily add a lot of light but they are decreative. I have received quite a few comments about how different and attractive they are.
