Cons
Best Uses

- Hanging In Greehhouse
We hung these lights in our greenhouse, and can watch the display change from our house. They are very beautiful and a little sun really gives them a good charge, that last all night.
Love the aspect of the Solar Power supplying the energy for these lights.
Only problem is now we would like another set.
Pros
- Easy To Install
- JUST BEAUTIFUL
- Solar Powered
Cons
Best Uses
I actually put these up in my chicken coop. I didn't want to stretch an extension cord all the way out to the coop, only to run over it with the snow thrower. These solar lights were easily installed, and I was able to mount the solar cell outside the coop, and hang the lights inside the coop. They help illuminate the coop at night when I am trying to do chores. They are beautiful and the geese love them :)
Pros
- Easy to use
- Pretty colors
Cons
Best Uses
- Party decoration
I love these snowballs! They are not traditional holiday season colors, but the changing colors are very attractive. You might need to experiment with the placement of the solar panel to ensure it is getting direct sunlight if your yard has a lot of mature trees. I am very satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend it.
Pros
- Beautiful Entertaining
Cons
- none
Best Uses
- Outside On A Tree
Wish I would of bought another set quickly as they sold out.
I have not had them long, however, I put them outside and so far they are holding up to the elements and are holding a charge so that they run for quite awhile into the evening. Nice colors also.
I've got a covered deck with a beautiful view that I wanted to enhance. I put up only one string of the three I've purchased earlier today, and I've been enchanted all night! The changing colors, the unexpected variety, it's completely charming! If these last as long and perform as well as they are reported, all I can say is that I cannot wait to hang the next two strings.
use on my covered porch
Pros
- Attractive
- Unique
Cons
Best Uses
- On Smaller Trees
- Yard Decoration
I am reviewing this product a second time after about a month's use. I had to return one of the original strands of these bulbs because it did not change to all the colors of the other one. I find these are extremely beautiful and will last most of the night if they have had 5 or more hours of direct sunlight. They only glow an hour or so after cloudy winter days. I expect them to perform wonderfully this spring and summer. I will leave them hanging on my small dogwood tree all year. One really nice feature is that the solar collector will unplug from the string and can be placed in a sunny spot if necessary. These are more spectacular than the Northern Sphere lights and more economical as well. The globes are about the same size as the NL Spheres. I have both and will continue to use both. Lots of compliments from neighbors and friends. I ordered two more sets of the snow balls to keep as spares.
Pros
- All-night Color
- Beautiful color spectrum
Cons
- None yet
Best Uses
- Bunched Burst Of Colors
- Hang From Tree Limbs
- Nice On Fences
I have had these up for 2 days and nights and had many complements already. I love the total spectrum of colors these display from bright primaries to subtle pastels. They start out all red and almost immediately the balls become different colors that change unevenly so they are not all the same at any one time. The effect is even lovelier than the northern light spheres that also garner complements. These also seem sturdier than the northern light spheres (which are somewhat delicate and need to be replaced frequently}. I hope these snow balls last as long as I think they will. I have them in my dogwood tree for Christmas and plan to use them all year long.
I have been experimenting with solar outdoor lighting, and these lights are great. On the technical side, given a sunny spot, the collector and the batteries they come with keep these lights running all night long. On the aesthetic side, they are so pretty - beautiful changing sparkly colors. Can't wait til they come on at dusk. When I go to bed - still going strong. Even in the dark just before the sun comes up and shuts them off, they are still squeezing out a tiny bit of color. I've ordered more - hope they get here soon.
