Our version of this American classic punched tin lantern is made with a weatherproof material dyed to resemble aged bronze and perforated in a decorative flower pattern. Inside, one LED light provides a soft glow, powered by a solar panel on top. Folds flat for easy storage.

The picture in the magazine makes the lantern look better than it looks in person. The picture makes it look smooth, while in person it is crinkled. Honestly, I thought it was made out of tin from looking at the picture in the magazine. And, then I was surprised (not pleasantly) when I found out it was some form of fabric... for the price I paid especially.
Also, there were no color choices when ordering. I honestly thought I would be receiving a lantern that was a tin or darker color. But, instead it was more of a gold. And, then I looked back at the catalogue which actually names the one they send you bronze - it is not bronze.
The photograph in the catalog and the online image and description of the lantern are extremely misleading.

It hangs on a cast iron plant hanger post,perfect.
THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. WE HANG OUR THREE FROM OUR FANS IN THE COURT YARD. IT LIGHTS THE FLOOR OF THE WALK WAY ,AND QUITE A LARGE CIRCLE OF LIGHT IT IS. THE LIGHT COMING FROM OUT OF THE SIDES OF THE LANTERN IS VERY PRETTY IN ITSELF. IT"S BEEN LEFT OUT IN THE RAIN AND THE SUN AND HASN'T HARMED WHATEVER THE MATERIAL IS THAT THE LANTERN IN MADE OF. AHH, WE LIKE THEM ALOT.

hung on various height hooks in flower beds along driveway. wirred them to hook because they are light weight and we have a lot of wind. Beautiful pale light...we have purchased and thrown out too many "bright" ones.
Wish you had the packages of 3 at the better price.
