Comments about Solar-Powered Glow Enhancer:
I should return this item, but it is too much hassle. The light is so dim it doesn't even show up at night. This product should be removed from the catalog as it does not do what what it supposedly does.

This helps create a subtle glow for the celestial
globe. It helps but if it was a stronger light I could see it better

Comments about Solar-Powered Glow Enhancer:
If you are planing on purchasing the globe...this enhancer should be part of that purchase. The enhancer improves the glow 100%! Without the enhancer you have to be right on "top" of the globe to see it in the dark. With the enhancer...the globe can be seen a lot better! I have had the globe and the enhancer in my flower bed since May. I have had no problems with rusting or anything else(so far... and New York has had a lot of RAIN!). One thing I would change about the enhancer is make the plastic tube bigger. It is smaller than the globe's opening. With force, you can make the enhancer fit, but not all the way. I have another globe on the side of my house(in a flower bed) and I plan on ordering another enhancer for that globe.

Comments about Solar-Powered Glow Enhancer:
This is my second glow enhancer. My first one stopped working when it got wet and the screws on the solor panel rusted horribly. My first one got wet when a deer broke my first globe and water got to the enhancer. I had the regular blue globe with the green swirls the first time and the enhancer fit perfectly. The second globe I got was the amber one and the enhancer did not fit at all. It was too large. I had to take the standard stopper that came with the globe and cut out an opening for the enhancer. Lots of items I buy from gardeners supply I have to jerry rig. They need to do more real world testing before they sell items. I would not recommend this item, but I might get another one if I have too, because my globes doen't get enough sun to glow on their own.

Stopped working after a month of use. Bottom screws of the solar panel were rusting and the panel came apart in my hand. When it was working, I thought it worked well.

Comments about Solar-Powered Glow Enhancer:
I purchased two of this item this year because it thought that they would enhance the performance of the two large phosphorescent globes and stands that I purchased from Gardeners Supply last season. When I tried to install the Solar Power Glow Enhancers to the base portion of the globes I was very disappointed to find that the light socket base has an OD that is larger than the ID of the globe. I had to resort to black duct tape to secure the socket to the globes. Needless to say, it looks tacky so I repositioned the globes in some low level scrubs to hide the base. In addition because the LED light is Purple it really does not illuminate well.
