When you're outdoors after dark, it helps to have some light on the scene. This security light installs in minutes without any need for access to an electrical source. Install the 6V solar cell where it will get the most sunlight, and mount the light itself up to 20' away. Sixty, super-bright LED bulbs switch on when the built-in sensor detects movement up to 50' away. Adjustable for distance sensitivity and run time (from 4 to 30 seconds once motion has stopped).

This light worked well for about 3-4 months after we purchased and installed it. Then it just stopped working. After recharging the battery as directed in the instructions, it still did not work. We replaced the battery about 6 weeks ago. It worked as intended for about a month. Now it only flickers on and off when there is motion. Tried troubleshooting per the guide, but it still does not work as intended. It sounded like a great idea, but seems more like it was a waste of good money.

I ordered two of these motion sensor solar security lights on March 27, 2013, and received them on March 30. Since one light was needed at the time, one was charged for several days as stated in the directions, and then installed. For the first week and a half, the light worked perfectly. It provided ample nighttime lighting, and cycled on and off, whenever motion was detected. Shortly thereafter, it stopped working as promised. The light began flashing, like the flash on a camera, during the DAYTIME and NIGHTTIME whenever motion was detected. Consequently, my husband tried numerous readjustments, but no adjustment resolved the issue. The light has continued to flash, during the daytime and nighttime, and provides no useful lighting or security at night. In my opinion, this light is definitely an inferior product and NOT worth the money. It is of very poor quality, and I wish I had NOT purchased two. The other light remains unused, in its original packaging, and we do not want to waste time installing it. This was an expensive and very bad purchase!

I purchased this light about a year & half ago. My son & I put it up and it has been working ever since. I have purchased other solar lights and this one not only works with a very bright light it still works after a year 1/2. In fact my son had noticed it was still working at Thanksgiving and I thought it would be a great gift for his home as well. Yes, he was happy with his Christmas gift. Thank you!

We use two of these to illuminate sections of the path between our house and our detached garage. The sensor is great because the light is on only when we need it. The wire connection that allows the sensor to be a distance from the lamp is great because the sensor can be located for optimal sunlight and the lamp located for best illumination. The solar panel saves electricity and eliminates the need to do any wiring. The new LED bulb put out even better light than the previous lamp.
