I used this product on the side of my house where there is no power available to add lighting. It illuminates the entry to the garage as well as the dark side of the house. Worked so well I bought a second one to help light my long driveway. No problem with function even in December, when the days in upstate New York are short and often overcast. I would love to see an improved design. This one is functional but not particularly attractive, which could limit sales.

AM GOING TO RETURN AND HOPE IT CAN BE REPLACED WITH A WORKING UNIT. THE UNIT TURNS ON AND OFF FOR 3 SECONDS WHEN MOTION ACTIVATED.

This is great for back and side yards that need some temporary light.

We use it for taking the dog out at night to "do thier business" and for taking the trash out.

We have 2 for a back corner to give maximum exposure (270 degrees)

Needed additional siding product that we got at a local home improvement store to make it fit well on our side wall.

We live up north, and the long cord to the solar panal came in handy as we attached the solar panal up high to gain maximum exposure.

I bought two to light up dark areas around the house. I'm very happy with the adjustable motion detector and timing for the light. Much brighter than I expected but not overwhelming either. Easy to install but I wish better quality screws had been supplied with it. This is the best solar powered security light that I can find on the market. I'm ready to buy one more.

We ordered this in July 2011 and it konked out by November 2011. It's totally shot! Doesn't work, no charge & can't replace battery or LED's. When it was working it was fantastic. Sensor was quick to respond, Lights were super bright and it had a big area of coverage. Twenty foot cord was great! This should at least have lasted a year though. Made in China! Very disappointed.

This light solved our year-round gardening problem, picking dinner on a dark winter evening. Also I love the Garden quilt with fiberglass hoops to extend the season and get a jump on spring.

This was the light I've been looking for to illuminate the areas not reached by our other electric motion sensor lights. They are areas that my small dogs use and one of them is black so it really helps me keep an eye on them and anything else that wonders into the area. I also love the long cord between the solar panel and the light itself so that I can move the panel around to follow the sun.

I only gave this 4 stars because the light only stays on for 30 seconds before it goes out. If it could stay on longer it would be more useful. I have mine above my garage door which is in the back of my house and it really does help. It lit up after only a few hours of overcast light on the first day. I believe this is definitely worth the money and being able to see!

Had a similar light which died when the roof was replaced.....has worked since batteries were charged by the sun. Make sure the angle is at its'
best

Outdoor use- only lasted about a year. Have used other solar units from Gardeners Supply that are far superior
