Overall these lights are exactly what we wanted in our back yard, which becomes a zone of black after dark. We have placed four sets of these throughout our yard to help illuminate and accent the yard and break up the darkness, and they have worked perfectly.
Others have said they require full, direct light to charge and that has been our experience as well. They also took a full two days to fully charge but once on a cycle they have worked without fail. We have not yet had to contend with clouds or rain (we live in Arizona) so we cannot speak to how they react without direct charge but that should be the rare exception for us.
These are not quite as robust as they appear in the photos, primarily constructed of very light plastic but they look nice in person.
I recommend these lights provided you are not seeking to brightly light anything and want only to provide a pleasing ambient glow and accent certain areas.

Easy to use - just put in the garden. Make sure you put it in FULL sun.

We used them to accent the garden. They look good and work very well. They work well even when they only get a little sun. If it is cloudy (rain) all day, they won't charge.

Used these lights in my flower garden. They look nice but too close to ground. Good quality.

Don't like to have the electric lights burning at night. These lights are perfect to illuminate the way to our house. Easy to set up, great look!

The best thing about this product is how well they have lasted in our yard, despite the cold weather and even after one was uprooted by our snow plow.

The path lights I had were so bright that the light came through my Venetian blinds at night and annoyed me. These lights give plenty of illumination on the stairs and path between parking and house, but do not keep me awake. The only drawback is that ambient light is not enough to charge the batteries; they require direct sun, so placing them where they are in the shadow of the house all day does not work.

These little solar lights do a nice job of illuminating my garden stairs. They took awhile to charge initially, but have worked basically maintenance free ever since. If there is a plant or rock that shades the light during the day, it will not glow as long as the ones that recieve full light. As long as they are in the same light, they glow evenly and nicely at night.
