New | Versatile Solar Lantern Has Realistic Flickering Light
- Solar-powered LED lantern creates a soft glow
- Versatile; install it along a path on the included hook, hang it on your porch or set it on a table
- Place in full sun to charge
Reminiscent of an Old World streetlamp from a Dickens tale, this lantern's flickering "candle" conceals one super-bright LED that provides a soft, realistic glow. It's versatile, too. Use the shepherd's hook, included, to install the lantern along a path or near a doorway. Or you can set it on a table for a romantic al fresco candlelit dinner, or hang it from your porch. At dusk, the light turns on automatically. Two light options: constant on or flickering.
- Powder-coated steel with anthracite gray finish, plastic, glass, LED light
- Lantern is 5" square x 7" H
- Shepherd's crook is 33-1/2" H overall, including a 7-1/2" ground stake (26" H installed)
- Hanging hook is 2-3/8" H above top of lantern
- Crystalline solar panel on top of lantern requires direct sun during the day to charge

Pros
- Light Is A Warm Color
- Not too bright
Cons
Best Uses
- Architectural Element
- Decorative
The finish is lovely, a matt charcoal color. Adds a hardline architectural element into the landscape. The color of the light emitted is lovely in the darkness of the night, it looks like candle light. Some of my lanterns glow brighter than others and yet they seem to have the same sun exposure.(It may be that they are a little different from one another. 2 were received as a gift and the others bought almost a year later.) I would recommend these as they are lovely and nicely priced.

Got 3 several months ago and was so pleased we ordered 2 more to accent another part of our garden, setting off irises by a doorway. These are very well made, contrary to other solar lights I've purchased. They look like high priced landscaping features. The candle flicker is very realistic.

I bought two as a trial before investing in a dozen for our entry path and stairs. One never worked at all. The other worked one night and quit thereafter. We live in the rainy Northwest. I left them out for a week but never had more than the one w/ its dim light. It was no brighter than the inexpensive and plain solar light I bought at a big box store but the design is better. The white light is brighter than the yellow flicker. Disappointed because I really wanted these to work.
These lanterns resemble wrought iron and are sturdy enough for accidental kicks and clumsy dogs. Not only attractive, they have a setting that looks just like flickering candles. Yet, they throw sufficient light to illuminate our (very dark) entry. I've purchased many entrance lights, both solar and hard wired, and these are the best ever. They appear to be durable--we'll have to see, as I've just installed them. I wish they were made in America--I'd be willing to pay more!
Pros
- Easy to set up
- Lantern Fairly Durable
- Pretty In Garden At Night
- Sticks Are A Good Height
Cons
- Can Not See The Flicker
- Handles Not Tight On Hold
Best Uses
- Outside at night
Overall, pretty when lit up. I set it on flicker but you can't see a flicker...just a steady light. The handles that hold the lantern are loose and lantern could come loose with mimimal movement. So far, has not come loose. Just a little disappointed it doesn't flicker. I would recommend to a friend, but warn them it doesn't show flicker.

- Attractive
Cons
- Not Bright Enough
Best Uses

These lights are used to light up sidewalk a little to make sure nothing is in my path to the front door. They are very attractive lights with a warm home feeling. I just wish they where a little brighter. They are very expensive as well.
