The cattails give off a pleasant subdued light that I enjoy looking at every evening. They are quite attractive in the garden. The leaves on these cattails are very fragile as others have noted. I have solved the problem by making a loop out of twine and tieing it to the cattail light above the leaves and looping it over the leaves keeping them upright and it stops them from bending and breaking off. These make great gifts and my daughters love them and they are not an item you can find at your local garden center. Thanks Gardener's Supply!

It gives off a nice glow, but we have strong winds and that tends to make the leaves drop down. I think they need to better secure the joints.

I have 3 and have replaced 2 of them in SIX Months.... Bulb is NOT bright and leaves fall over after a small bird leans on them. leaves then break off after bending them back up.

This product is HORRIBLE and lacks quality...

I have just sent mine back for a refund...

This was a waste of TIME and MONEY.....

I overlooked the description stating this was for just ONE cattail light. My dog found the solar battery and wire to be very tasty. So, unfortunetly, I have not seen the light come one. It is still lovely and at some point I will purchase more and keep them away from my dog so I can see them with the lights.

They look very nice in our back yard. They are sturdy. I was kind of misled when ordering, it showed three and I thought I was ordering three for that price. One showed. I then had to order the other two. [...] They add color and elegance to our yard and we've gotten many compliments.

I put the cattail in a garden near the lake. It is a perfect setting for it and gives a little light at night.
