The soapstone container is smaller than the sticky trap that is suppose to go inside. I had to cut the trap down to make it fit inside the soapstone container. I don't know yet how effective it is at trapping pests. It needs a few more weeks to see.

The trap cover is very attractive, and the traps work, but the traps don't fit the cover! Maybe there's a trick to folding them which I'll maybe figure out, but the instructions certainly didn't help. Disappointed.

I always was keeping the pantry moths under control. I let the product expire and thought I was OK, but then suddenly after receiving some 'special' baking treats I got invaded!! I quickly ordered more of the pantry moth supply and spent a day cleaning my pantry! This time I wanted to hide my moth killer in something more attractive. I was very please with the soap stone cover when it arrived. It now sits up on my clean pantry shelf protecting my home from another invasion! I also took another precaution by putting all flour or grain products in either Mason Jars or plastic tubs.

Put one of this inside a cupboard where my rice and pasta are stored. It works! The soapstone is beautiful. Had to trim down the sides of the cardboard lure to fit inside the soapstone cover but no big deal. Great product.

I have used the pantry pest traps for a number of years because I have birds and sometimes the moths come in with the seed. They are very effective and will get rid of even a bad infestation given a little time. Now with the soapstone cover they even look pretty and are much less noticable.

I put the traps out until I had time to do a thorough cleaning of the pantry. The number of moths was reduced very quickly. I am now just doing maintenance and it's working very well.

I read comments from other users and decided to give it a try - those meal moths make me crazy! I just wish that they were a little less expensive - but it does beat having to throw away everything in your cupboards. I have had them for about a month and the traps are quite full with the little buggers - I still see a moth now and then, but nothing like before. I will order more when I need them...
