Leave it to a gardener in rainy England to improve on the tried-and-true "beer cup" method of trapping slugs. The Slug-X Trap has a low roof that keeps beer bait fresh and concentrates its enticing aroma. Inside, three large reservoirs vanquish an army of slugs and snails—dozens a night in badly infested gardens! Best of all, Slug-X doesn’t need to be buried, so it can be relocated easily without leaving holes behind.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
Very effective almost year round. I have been using 4 of these "Slug Hotels" for at least five years. I have no problem with using them close to my containers on our much used visual back deck. People ask what they are and are in disbelief when they actually see.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
Put beer into trap; hoped to kill slugs. Attracted slugs; slugs on every surface; couldn't pick it up without touching slugs, yech. Grose slugs everywhere. Container not big enough to hold a full 12 oz can of beer. Container to shallow so slugs did not drown as they were supposed to, so they crawled around everywhere. One whiff upon opening it was enough to make me tipsy, but not the slugs.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
Used in the yard this year when an extreme period of rain brought on a mulitude of garden destroying slugs. Very effective - I could not believe how many slugs were caught so quickly.

I had two of these and ordered two more. Using the Slug-x saved my hosta garden.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
This is so much better than bait beer in an open pan. The cover keeps the rain out, so there's less need for beer. The slugs check in, but they can't check out.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
It's a great product. You simply pour some cheap beer in the wells and put on the lid. When you check it later, you find slugs. There's no poison to put in the garden.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
The beer in the trap works well but even better is a mixture of corn meal and slug bait - I didn't realize I had so many slugs and snails invading my garden. Just a little messy to clean out before refilling.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
This slug trap blends in well, is effective, and very easy to clean and maintain. The lid is secure, so no problems with the wrong critters entering!

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
Living in Hawaii means lots of bugs, and lots of rain which makes the usual snail/slug solution of dry pellets ineffective. These simple little traps use an old solution(beer)with a new device. Those slimey creatures slither in, drown and I only have to clean the trap out about twice a week! Cleaning is simply a matter of hosing the trap down A bit "yukky" but worth it to be rid of those voracious eaters that have been enjoying my tropical flowers. I find they prefer the beer flat; but since the trap only uses about half a can, the second half is always ready when it's time to refill.

Comments about Slug-X Trap:
It works great, and has done more for eliminating slugs from my garden than the poison I used to use.
