the 36 and 48# stakes are so thin, you need to sink them in the soil quite a ways before they become effective for holding power. if you only sink them a few inches, they will not hold your stems in an erect position. they are toooo thin and tooo bendable. would not recommend or ever buy these again. i have some old ones that are at least 10yr. old that i got at G.S. they still do their work and are still useable, i just needed more of them.big mistake, quality is not there.

I used them to stake lilies and the plants with lots of flowers won't stand up straight, they will pull the stakes over a little. I do like them and would buy them again if I need more.

My flowering Lilies were full and top heavy. They fell over from the weight of the blooms. I purchased these stem supports and now my front garden looks so WONDERFUL, strangers stop in cars to ask about my garden. I plan on ordering more, since I already ordered more Lilies. THANKS!!!

These are wonderful for tall plants such as lilies, I am now using them for sunflowers which get very heavy and these hold up the heads well

I bought these for staking up one flower and am now using them for about ten different things, and need more of them! They are useful for any plant that has flowers that grow too tall and then has trouble standing up straight. These are just the thing.

These stakes are so great when you have that simple fower to support. It is useful when a stray flower didn't grow within other supports and can be added so easily to that flower. The green blends so well that it becomes nearly invisible.

These are a great addition to my garden. My lillies have mutiplied and gotten really tall. These stakes keep them upright and looking grand. One stake can actually be used for two smaller lillies that are very close together.
