it is a beautiful fountain but i have it about 4 ft off the floor and you can't see into it and that is the pretty part so it would be great for the tabletop but the sound is perfect and after you fill the fountain , it really seems to retain the water and we run it 24/7.

I had been searching for a fountain just like this one for a very long time: the color of the porcelain is soft and restful; the sound of the water trickling down is meditative; and the humidity it gives my plants is beneficial. The pump was a bit noisy until we put a piece of foam underneath the bowl--and now it's quiet. I absolutely love this fountain!

We put our fountain in our plant room and are using it as a humidifier for us and the plants! The trickling water is very soothing, but the pump is a little noisy.

I was able to put it together quickly and use it in my study. I keep it running all the time and find it a wonderful aid to my meditations. It provides a serene background sound in our adjoining dining room.

I was looking for the perfect fountain for my "quiet" room. This is it. No leaks or splashes, a wonderful trickling sound, and quiet pump. My two cats love the extra fresh water, though, so we're all happy.

I have purchased many fountains on line for my day spa, only to be disappointed. This fountain is everything it describes and more! Nice solid design! Well made and looks great. I even added some stones to the different levels.
