I have my planters outside and have found that the only problem is over watering if we get a strong rain. Fortunately with the wheels it easy to move undercover. My plants are doing great with the consistent watering instead of intermittent.

Instructions are hidden under difficult to remove grate. I had no idea they were there therefore,following a long search for the direction, the very heavy thorn plant was put in without the water feature set up.
It is not acceptable to send an item without visable instructions!!

I have both sizes of this product and use them for ficus plants. So convenient. When you are away for a week or two you don't have to worry about your plants.

I can roll my herbs and tomato plants into and out of the sun as needed. This is important in the desert climate in which I live!! And I LOVE the convenience of watering only once a week.

I am completely satisfied with the product except the wheel base. It is not sturdy plastic and one false move and it breaks. They need to be made of metal.

I love this -- made it possible for me to have some fresh herbs the first year in my new house, when I had not yet had a chance to dig garden beds, or even decide WHERE to dig garden beds! My only complaint is that one of the plastic pegs that attaches the casters to the planter snapped fairly early on ... so mobility is no longer a plus. :-(

We bought a miniature nectarine tree and were advised to plant it in a self-watering pot. This one looks great and works so well. There is a small water level gauge on the side, inconspicuous, but easy to read and see if it needs more water. Watering is a breeze. If it hasn't rained, simply open the corner cap and fill until the gauge reads full. This planter has wheels, so it's ideal to rotate the tree occasionally. Finally, Michigan winters can be tough, so it's a good thing this planter is sturdy! I did snuggle it up against a brick wall, another nice feature of the wheels.

I needed big pots for my large cacti but since I live in Nebraska I could not leave them outdoors year around. The planters are perfect...now I can just push them onto the sunporch in the winter and push them outside during nice weather. Very attractive and work perfectly for my purposes.

My neighbors and friends are impressed with the look of the container as I am. This great for my growing gardenia plant that will need to be protected during the winter. Now I can just easily roll it to a protected area and not have to worry about frost damage.
