These Cortina planters have highly realistic finishes that mimic ceramic pottery, but they’re made of lightweight polypropylene so they’re easier to move. Hidden inside is a 1-gallon reservoir, water-level indicator and an easy-fill funnel to keep plants lush and healthy all summer long.

I have 5 of these in blue, and just ordered 3 more for presents. My only complaint is that the blue is no longer available. These are easy to move inside for the winter.

I spend allot of time away from home, and need to have self watering pots in order to ensure that if my gardener let's too much time go in between watering then there's the extra insurance that the one gallon reservoir gives you. I've had good luck with these pots, and have planted almost exclusively bulbs or tuberous roots. The key is patience, because it takes about a month for a bulb to develope a root system that will reach down the the reservoir. But patience is always rewarded.

I use these pots for dwarf citrus and pomegranate trees that go outside in the summer and come indoors for the winter. They hold up well in the sun. My oldest one is two years old and still looks great.

These Cortina planters are great looking and so nice to move around since they are so light. They seem like they should last awhile. The only regret I have is that I didn't get the bigger size. I got the planters with the self-watering set-up (which can be switched to any planter you want) but ended up wanting more soil space and less reservoir space in some of the planters. I love the 16" size anyway; I'm just not using all of them with the self-waterers.

Love this container it keeps plants watered for a week or more.
Low maintance the plants love it and so do I.
Light weight and great for high traffic area since there is no drainage onto the porch or patio.

There is nothing great about this product. It looks reasonably good. No idea whether it will work, but I certainly am puzzled at how it can work without a wick. The filling tube makes no sense nor does the curious float with a tube on it.

Bought this thinking it was same as prior planters, but color and finish don't match prior.

This is ok, but I repotted and removed the insert. The water goes stagnant very quickly in the heat of Southern New Mexico. I also had to drill drainage holes in the bottom to keep from drowning my plants.

A little difficult to understand instructions at first, but I figured it out OK.
