My porch self watering containers used to die halfway through the season. The soil was always to heavy and soggy. This loan was easy to use and easier to plan my flowers in. I already have ordered more for my plants inside.

I have become a huge fan of this mixture. I have reached the age where lugging giant bags of that "miracle" potting soil was endangering my back. One blown disk and I would not have been able to work for a long time! The bags are lightweight and the perfect size for filling my self-watering planters and regular planters as well. It is a nice "soil-free" mixture. My plants are thriving in it and growing like crazy. The mix holds moisture for a long time. Well worth the price.

This mix has all my container plants thriving. It is the perfect medium. I add a little worm compost to it because my plants love it. I have grown a diverse selection of plants in this mix and they all love it.

Light enough for growing bags to be moved around. But does not wash away. Works well to keep plant dirt loose, even when mixed with other soil.

I use new self-watering container mix for my tomatoes each year. After the tomatoes are done, I put the used mix in a large trash can (which already has some soil and a few earthworms) along with newspaper strips, coffee grounds, etc....cover it and let it sit through the winter. Makes wonderful potting soil for my other plants the next summer.
