I purchased this bucket to put the lighted branches in along with some artificial greenery for Christmas. It worked out just right. I also bought a nice red, green and gold bow to put around it, but it kept slipping down. But a little tape folded inside out took care of that problem. If the timers on both sets of branches had worked it would have been perfect.

Being always partial to the old fashioned French flower tin vases I was happy to find a version of it here - with a touch of patina.
Versatile indeed ! -1) I have placed silk peonies in it, which did not fit into any vase we have. They have short stems, and the full white heads nicely float just above the rim of this slightly 'verdi-gris' colored florist bucket.
2) Next it will hold wash cloths and hand towels when our relatives arrive to visit. 3) And it also worked harvesting flowers with a canning jar inside to prevent rusting of the lovely metal product.
