I bought two of the small boot trays along with these grids to use as humidity trays for my orchids. My orchids love the extra humidity and I love the convenience, quality and price or these trays. I'll be purchasing more of these soon. As other reviewers have stated, the grids do have a strong rubber odor at first, but I set them outside for a couple of days and the odor dissapated quickly and is no longer detectable.

I needed a boot tray longer than the typical ones sold in stores, so bought the long size trays with the grids. The grids cause all the water, snow, and sand to fall onto the tray,and work great for all the boots and shoes I put on it. Definitely worth the price.

Very useful for both the mudroom and seed-starting operations. The downside for me was that I only needed one grid to fit the small boot tray, so I'll have to figure out a use for the other grid in the set.
