This "fieldstone" raised bed is made of extremely durable polyethylene with a unique two-tone finish you can't tell from real stone, even up close. Each quarter-round section weighs only about 11 lbs., and the whole thing goes together in minutes with just a hammer. Best of all, the plastic insulates soil much better than stone, extending your growing season.

Comments about Round "Fieldstone" Kit, 4-Foot:
Overall, I like this product. It looks good in my yard. Several neighbors thought it was real stone. Though it looks like the plastic it is close up, it does look real from a few feet away. Once the plants settle in, it will be wonderful. I am thinking of getting another one.
The only con was it was not quite as easy to assemble as I expected. It took at least 45 min. The four places where the sections join do not fit perfectly tight and some non-finished plastic surface shows. I did not know if certain sections were intended to fit together because no directions for assembly were included. I also did not know if I needed to use a rubber mallet rather than a regular hammer to drive in the stakes. The regular hammer marred them a bit. Because of the lack of directions and these fit problems, I rated it 4 stars rather than 5.

Purchased 2 square and 2 round beds, combined them and created 2 oblong beds with rounded ends. Looks absolutely beautiful. Professional landscapers have complimented me on how good they look. Neighbors want to know where I got them so they can purchase!!

Comments about Round "Fieldstone" Kit, 4-Foot:
I bought two of these to create a raised bed around two small trees we just put in our yard. They look wonderful! We have put in some bulbs--red border lilies, and they are coming up nicely. We have had people stop and ask us whether or not these beds were real. I want to say they are. They are ideal. Far easier to set up than real stone, they really look like real stone most of the time. Exceptions are only found in comparison to real stone in glancing sunlight or after rain. Stone would absorb water, of course, and would not shine in the same way in glancing sunlight. We had bought a 4x8 bed last year for a salad garden and it also worked well, and held up outside all winter--with no cracking, so we expect these will hold up well, too.

This may be pricey, but it's worth every penny! I have this, plus the rectangular set in my garden. My neighbor, who was watching me put it together couldn't believe I'd built a "stone" wall in less than 10 minutes. I love it because there's no chance now that the lawn cutters will mistakenly mow down my flowers or my vegetables, and having a raised bed is so much easier for me to weed and maintain.

I ordered one of these for a garden within a garden and I'm well-pleased. Have Heuchera planted in it and they look great contrasting with the greenery around it. Wanted another and took a chance on finding it online. Am ordering it now!

Had two people right off the bat that thought it was real stone until they went up to it and checked it out. Looks very nice and we are well pleased with it. Will be buying a couple more trees for the yard and will no doubt buy just as many of these round Fieldstones to go around them.
Piece of cake to set up, I like that as I did it myself. Only work was leveling it in the area I had it and that was easy enough also.
Thanks so much.

I have three of these and use them in my lawn area to plant ornamental trees. They are a bit expensive but will last forever so worth it in the long run.

I put the border across my backyard to protect my plants from the lawn mowing people and to improve the appearance of my back yard. I liked it so well that I have bought several more and put them around all of my trees. After seeing my yard, many neighbors have put them or similar items in their yards.
