Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
I had to put the composter together by myself and had no problems. This is the second composter for me, liked the first one so much had to purchase another one. I had no problem turning it and rolling it across the yard. I have had no problems with leakage. I really enjoy composting with it. Enjoy seeing that yard waste breaking down.

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
It is difficult to screw the lid open and closed. So far all I have is a wet morass of stinky, fly attracting matter that does not look at all like compost. I tried adding a little straw to dry it out, but that did not help. I will probably go back to making my own compost on the ground, even though that means keeping the wildlife at bay

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
The instructions that come with the composter are awful - just small pictures with no written instruction. I suggest that staff members at Gardeners Supply assemble any products that require assembly, write better directions, and then post the results on the website so anyone struggling with the poor directions that now come with many products could have a guide to assemble a product purchased from Gardeners Supply.

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
I've had the tumbler for about a month now and, so far, I really like the tumbling ability. I've had a stationary composter for years and turning it with the pitch fork was starting to get old and harder to do as I've aged. The portability will be GREAT as now I won't have to shovel the compost into the wheelbarrow, then transport it to where ever in the garden , empty it, then back for more, etc. It's features, plus the surprise of it being on sale to boot when I ordered it made this an excellent buy.

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
This composter was difficult to assemble by myself, and I had to replace several pieces of hardware that didn't work w/ the corresponding nuts. You have to be very careful to get the top locked down, or the contents spill out when you rotate the barrel. I find it hard to get the top securely in place. Not something I would recommend.

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
I have composed for years in a fixed unit. this composter is attractive and very easy to use. It also works much quicker. The only thing I don't like is that it leaks, so you have to be careful where you keep it. I might try a bead of caulk on the outside of the seam to eliminate the leaking. I think it is a very nice unit.

Comments about Rolling Compost Tumbler:
A great kitchen composter. I plan to use it year round. It does not attract bears and keeps rodents out! It has great capacity and looks good enough to keep next to the house. It's very convenient to move around, sturdy and well made.
