I was so happy to see this product!!! I bought it and the round retro fit basket too! Both were easy to put on my older tractor scoot. I have a green tractor scoot and got the black handle and the red basket so my scoot would be different colors! I use this all the time now that I can pull it around with the new handle!!! Thanks Gardeners for making this and extending the life of my scoot!!!!

i received a turnable tractor scoot as a gift -- don't know where it was purchased -- and ordered the handle and round basket in hopes of a fit. both attached just fine. i'm pleased as punch!

The handle needed to be installed on a piece of metal that didn't exist on my old Garden Scoot. I was lucky enough to have a friend who welded a piece of metal onto the crossbar of the Scoot and then attached the handle to that piece. Because your Garden Scoot is so sturdily built my older one is still in good shape and quite usable but you have changed the design in the last 20 odd years! This handle is not compatible with the older design unless you, too, can weld. I was delighted to see it offered on your site as it will make my old Scoot nearly as easy to use as my newer one.

I am 71 years old. I love using my old scoot, but can not move it around. When I first bought it, I contacted the RadioFlyer little red wagon company about buying a wagon handle They do not sell to individuals. I was thrilled to see your handles in the catalog. I orderded one, it came yesterday. Bummer!!! The handle did not work r because my old tractor scoot does not have a steering front end and the handle is predrilled to fit on a steering tractor scoot. It looks like it needs another metal piece to fit under the axel. As it stands, there is no place to bolt it to. There were no instructions, photos, etc.

If I say I would not recommend this product, no one will see this comment. But, I do not recommend it as you can not use it with the old scoot.

My scoot was a gift, but did not come with a handle. I liked the scoot but it was hard to use with no handle. I now have added the handle and it follows me everywhere.

I recently ordered a new tractor scoot but have an older one that I've had for several years. I liked the upgrades on the new one - the basket and the handle to pull it with. I ordered both for my old tractor scoot. The basket didn't work because of a difference in axle length but I am trying to adapt it. The handle did not work either because my old tractor scoot does not have a steering front end and the handle is predrilled to fit on a steering tractor scoot. I am trying to adapt it to work but no luck so far.

Nice upgrade for my Tractor Scoot purchased in 2008. Makes moving the Scoot much easier. Fits perfectly; very easy to install.

As a very tall person the only real drawback to my older-style tractor scoot was the awkward stance required to transport it from site to site in the yard. Now with the extended handle my tractor scoot can easily follow me wherever I go! It's not quite as easy to maneuver while sitting on it, but the trade-off is well worth it.

I have had my garden tractor for several years, when I bought mine however, there was no handel to use with it. I have been pulling it around with a rope.Was thrilled that I could not only purchase this handel but it helps me get to my feet more easily when I use this tractor. Without the tractor I cannot garden. This makes using it even easier. Thanks!!!

I have an acre and we installed a very large garden on the end of the property. By adding the handle I was able to walk down to the garden with my Tractor Scoot with no problems at all! I added the basket and can now load all my tools and than on the return trip take out the vegies, weeds and walk right back up to the house in one trip!
