Fun events for your little sprout!
It's our mission to spread the joys and rewards of gardening, because gardening nourishes the body, elevates the spirit, builds community and makes the world a better place.
This same vision extends to our Kid's Club. We aspire to create an engaging, fun, and interactive environment that initiates and fosters a life-long love of gardening in children. Membership in Kids Club events is FREE of charge unless otherwise noted. Join now and we'll enroll your little sprout in the program.

Kid's Club events are held at our Williston Garden Center. Pre-registration is required and space is limited so please call 658-2433 to register your little sprout today!

Teddy bear tea party!

Bring your favorite teddy bear and have a tea party in our conservatory! Take a green house tour, learn about Cactus and succulents. Transplant a succulent in a terra cotta pot to take home. Max Attendance: 20 kids

Sprouts, for your sprout!

Sprouts for your sprout! Plant an edible tray of peas shoots to bring home and share with your family. Max Attendance: 30 kids

Pollination, what's that all about?

Help us prepare and plant the kids butterfly garden. Learn about what plants attract butterflies and bee's, and why plants can't grow without pollination. Outdoor activities and crafts will enhance an appreciation and love of nature. Max Attendance: 30 kids

What's bugging you and your garden?

Back by popular demand. Enjoy a fun and educational talk about all the little creatures flying, buzzing and crawling in your gardens. Our "bug expert" will lead a fun and informative talk about all the colorful, and interesting critters in your garden.

Do you believe in Fairy's?

Come to the garden center and help create at fairy garden. We'll have a story walk around the pond in search of fairy's. Create your own fairy house to take home. Max Attendance: 30 kids

Beautiful Birds*

The VT Audubon Center will come to the garden center to present Beautiful Birds. Fall is the perfect time to learn about birds. Many birds that spent the summer in VT are preparing for a long migration south. While others are getting ready for a cold and snowy winter. Through games, activities and observation we will learn about bird adaptations, migration, and identification. We will also introduce you to a world of bird watching with binoculars and field guides. Max Attendance: 30 kids
*$5 fee per attendee will be donated to VT Audubon Center

Pumpkin & Pirates!

Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate is returning to the Garden Center. He is sure to put a smile on everyone's face. Search for pirates buried treasure among the jack O lanterns in our nursery and if you choose, paint a pumpkin to take home.
