We are using the stool in our newly remodeled walk in master bath shower. It is just the right size for the limited amount of space and goes well with our 'zen' like tile.
In addition, our son is living in Costa Rica now and it has sentimental value - reminds me I should be at the beach in Costa Rica. Good pleasant thoughts to get thru the cold Wisconsin winters.

Probably the only comment that I would add would be that it would have been nice to have had information on whether to use teak oil on the wood or the pros and cons of staining the wood. Otherwise, it looks good and was just what I wanted!

I had scoured the internet looking for the perfect teak shower stool. I work long hours and look forward to relaxing in my rainforest shower at home. When I found this stool,I was leary of the price yet the sturdiness, style and positive comments led me to purchase it. I loved it the minute it came out of the box! The wood is smooth and luxorious looking, the heigth is perfect for sitting (I'm 5'4"), it's sturdy and there is nothing to not love about it! I kept it as a meditation stool at first and since I don't want to take it back and forth from shower area, I am purchasing another one just like it to keep for meditation!!! I oiled the stool and it brought out the most beautiful colors of the natural wood. A perfect addition for my home. I will happily buy future products from this site.

This is a beautiful piece for a bathroom, especially as a shower stool. The seat is finished so smoothly that you just want to run your hands along it. It is as sturdy as i had hoped and is compact enough for a small bathroom. It's also great as a vanity seat. Just lovely!
