Comments about Reed Fences:
I use this around a small above ground pool as a privacy screen. My husband built a frame to staple the fence against and that holds it firmly in place. The staples break the reed easily so some have to be redone but it's holding up well and serving the purpose. Do not overestimate the attractiveness of this setup - it is a reed fence. If you want a beach look, it's great. And it's cheap!

We wish that the sections could come in different sizes to work with our oddly shaped yard. But, this will do the trick for now.

Comments about Reed Fences:
We purchased the bamboo fence last year and saw this was supposed to be more tightly woven for privacy. We use it on our deck for privacy. It cost more, is shorter and the same weaving as the bamboo which is actually more attractive. Very disappointed in it.

Comments about Reed Fences:
[...]The reeds snapped easily when installing. The whole roll started to break as I unrolled it. I only installed one roll, not wanting to attempt cutting the second to install a smaller piece, as I was afraid if I cut it, it would simply fall apart.

I am using the fence to create a break from the neighbors for my garden. While you can see through the fence, it still creates a break and is very attractive.

Beautiful appearance; however, bamboo is narrow.

We attached this product to our chain link dog kennel for multiple reasons. Our dogs no longer see every person coming down the street but also we live in a historical area and it makes the ugly fence look beautiful.

I had over 200 feet of common box fence I easily applied the reed to using a simple staple gun in a short time. Looks great and patinas with the weather in Florida. Now has a rich silver like hue to it.

Comments about Reed Fences:
I bought this fence to screen my compost area, which it does very nicely. I really like the look of it. After only one season, though, the "vinyl-coated" wire holding it together has rusted through in a number of places. I expected more than one season's usefulness out of this product.

I get more compliments on my garden because of the reed fences...sets off my landscaping...the greenery....flowers...trees all look better...creates a sense of privacy...my next door neighbors refer to my garden as their own private park...only 2 negatives: 1.the binding falls apart and the reeds separate 2.Should more cost effective since they need replacing every couple of years or so
