Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
These tomato teepees are great. I've used the green walls-o-water for years, and I do like these better. Side by side in my garden, the red ones heat up faster and hold the heat longer. This is very important to me because I garden in zone 5 but we get harsh winds and this year frost through May. My tomatoes, peppers and eggplants love the heat. I leave them around the sweet peppers and eggplants all summer long, they protect the plants from hail and wind too. Buy them, you won't regret it.

Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
I start my tomatoe plants indoors in late March, and am able to plant them outdoors inside my RED tomatoe teepees in late April (we get frost into mid/late May in CO). My tomatoe plants are lush and happy, with tons of flowers and already setting fruit in mid-June.

Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
Walls of water are a must for growing tomatoes in the Pacific NW. They are a very effective and inexpensive way to extend your growing season long enough to harvest ripened tomatoes. I recommend them highly for anyone who has had to pick boxes of green tomatoes before an early fall frost and ripen them in the house, as I have!

We have used these for several years, never had any leaks or problems. No durability problems. Just wash them off, hang on clotheline to dry them out, and they are ready for next year. This year we had great temps inside the teepees and our tomatoes look great. Also keeps the young plants protected from not only cold, but wind.

Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
I have an urban garden with many challenges on getting enough sunlight. These help maximize sun time and my tomatoes hae never been stronger this early in the season. Te only challenge is with the size. They are hard to fit in a planter. Wish I could buy a small size.

Comments about Red Tomato Teepees, Set of 3:
I bought these last year and, while I eventually lost my tomatoes to the blight, the teepees did their job. We had non-stop rain during June & July. My co-workers didn't believe me when I told them how well mine were growing while theirs were barely getting started. This year I am again amazed! At the end of the first week, my seedlings were already at the top of the teepees! The only con is that you need two people to set them up. Minor complaint though. They are like little greenhouses. I'll never grow tomatoes without them again.

I use these for my tomatoes; usually they are helpful in reducing freeze damage to new plants; however, I found that they need to be filled early enough in the day for the water to heat up to protect the plants at night. It would be nice if these were easy-fill rather than having to fill each tube separately.
