The so-called super bloom is finally beginning to poke through the dirt. Ordered in Oct. started tending 3-plus months ago for a Christmas gift and I FINALLY have one bloom coming on a 4-inch stalk and one on an 8-inch stalk. Guess I'll call the lovely red flower my Easter amaryllis. What a big disappointment. Worse luck yet on the 6-pack! Never again. No recourse even though I tried to send an email complaint.

I began watering this bulb, which is planted in far too much peat moss to begin with, a little over a month ago. It is setting in a sunny south window out of drafts. To date, it has done absolutely noting! I plan to replant it in good potting soil and see if I have an amaryllis for Valentine's Day. I will not make the mistake of ordering living things from this company again.

This was much larger than I expected and in a beautiful pot! It took a while to bloom, but when it started, there were 3 large blooms at once. Probably the prettiest Amaryllis bulb that I have ever had and well worth the money.

I have Amaryllis that are 40 years old. I just moved, and replanted them, so I am praying that they come back. Yours is beautiful.
