Extra-Thick Recycled Rubber Mulch Edging
Garden beds and landscape plantings always look their best with well-defined edges. These long-lasting mulch mats keep grass and weeds from encroaching and let you mow right along so there's no need to trim. Made of 3/4" thick rubber from recycled tires, they suppress weeds more effectively than bark mulch, yet still let water, air and nutrients reach the soil. I used this to edge my personal beds. What a disappointment! It was hard to tack down w/ earth staples, had to hammer them in, hard to bend and shape the material. Material is heavy so cost a lot to ship, and then the weeds & grass grew OVER it. I used it two years, and that was enough of messy looking edges. During removal, the roots of plants had indeed grown through the material. I had to toss all of it. Not a practical product. I'm back to hard edging beds again!

I used this product around a garden bed and my lawn. It makes it easier to edge the grass since I have a rock border separating the lawn and garden bed. It looks great!

We have a stone driveway and it was difficult to keep the stones out of the garden and the wood chips out of the drive. This edging defines the border and keeps everything in its place. It has stopped the erosion that was happening.

This is the second time I've ordered this product for more edging of my flower beds. This edging product saves time while mowing. You don't have to use a weed eater. The wheel of the mower can go over the top of edging. Keeps grass from growing in the flower bed. It's great.

We took down a fence which surrounded our Pergola and this product has served as an edger to keep weeds and unwanted growth away. It's not obvious but very effective. I had planned to use bricks etc. but this was alot easier and less costly!Ridgefield CT
