Comments about 5-1/2" Edge Border:
I've been slowly building the border around the garden for a few years with this. I'm happy it's lasted so long. I pile river rock on top of it to make the garden border more distinct.

Comments about 5-1/2" Edge Border:
I love the recycled rubber edg border. I have bought several of them over the years and had the smaller size five and one half inch along the side of my gardens. The larger 12 inch across borders I use as little walkways and sometimes put several of them together to make a large walkway at the back of the gardens. My favorite color is the RedWood.

Comments about 5-1/2" Edge Border:
I cringed at the price when I first purchased this product about eight years ago but it is very durable and unobtrusive so I recently purchased more to use in another area of the garden. It is helpful to unroll it and lay it in the sun so it can "relax" and use the sharpest cutting tool you have if you need to trim it! This product also greatly reduces the need to weed the area it covers.

Comments about 5-1/2" Edge Border:
I first purchased this product, about 10 years ago. I used it to border my lawn. I cut holes in it to accommodate the sprinkler heads. Its not easy to cut but a drill with a hole cutter bit will do it. The only problem I had was the Bramuda Grass that grew up from under the sod I had planted. I have just reseeded my lawn and have purchased it again replacing the edging not wanting the Bramuda to reseed itself. I like the redwood color better than the black.

Isn't heavy or difficult to install like cement mowing strips. Does require earth staples to keep it in position until the material relaxes into the desired shape.

Comments about 5-1/2" Edge Border:
I have built a low retainer wall in front of a new flower garden area. I use these in front of the wall to make it easy for mowing along it. The mower wheel runs along the rubber border so the grass is cut evenly -- no need to get out the weed whacker! I really love these and have also purchased the tree rings. Not only do they make mowing easier, but I use the red ones so they add a bit of color -- and they don't fade.
