Paired with the raised-bed corners, the composite lumber made raised-bed making easy. Although it may have been more economical to use regular 2X4's, the pre-cut composite lumber made the job much easier for a petite woman with a limited number of power tools. With these I needed no help to complete the job. Also, it eliminated the need to hire someone to till the often hard ground in the area I had available. I simply constructed the bed and added fresh garden soil from a garden center. No complaints!

In Florida things rot but not these boards. Light weight but sturdy.
