Comments about Lake House Reader's Rocker:

This chair looks great on my screened-in porch. I bought the red hydrangea cushions. I wish the cushions made for the chair came in solid colors, which they don't. Pros: well made/sturdy. Reason for not giving it a 5: a) rocker rails were tweaked and had to struggle (needed two people) to force one of them on, b) seat is roomy/deep so that I need a lumbar cushion because I have short legs (5'5" woman), c) [...] ended up being very pricey.

Comments about Lake House Reader's Rocker:

I love everything about my reader/rocker, but if you carry most of your weight in the lower torso and legs, as I do, you may experience difficulty in rocking very far back. Instead I am kept too far forward. Not sure if it's my center of gravity or the position of the rockers, or what. In spite of this, it is a great chair!

Comments about Lake House Reader's Rocker:

Bought Rocker, Chair, Ottoman, Planter Stand, Coffee Table, End Table and Sofa. I really shopped around online and in person because I knew I was investing in a significant amount of furniture for our new home's large screened-in porch. It is always a bit of a risk to buy online without trying it out first, but the high back was so appealing and the look of it so attractive, I went for it... and boy, am I NOT SORRY. I would have given this a PERFECT SCORE save one big detail: the assembly. What a bother for such an expensive piece! I followed the small line drawing, had a contractor working on my house do the same...no luck... finally, another contractor said, "Lady, call and get new runners as there's no way these are going to work." [...] have the rocker gerry-rigged to work until then, but I'll feel comfortable having guests rock in comfort once the legs are actually affixed properly.

Bought this as a gift for my mother, very sturdy and comfortable, but almost impossible to get the runners on. Also bought the side table and planter, they look great together!

Comments about Lake House Reader's Rocker:

I bought these a couple of years ago and absolutely love them. They look fantastic on my screened in porch. It's the first chairs that everyone goes too when sitting on my porch. Very comfortable. I only wish they had the beverage holder like the chair does. More important for a rocker than a chair. Expensive but worth it!

Comments about Lake House Reader's Rocker:

I have very mixed feelings about this purchase. I bought two with the intention of buying two more. if I liked them. The assembly instructions need to be clearer. Chinese diagrams don't cut it. The actual rockers should be marked "right" or "left". I realized I had installed one set the wrong way, and when I finally had time to correct it, 10 days later, the metal had already started to rust. I won't be buying two more.
