I love this rocker! I actually ordered two of them for my front porch, which is now a little crowded but well worth it! My only comment to Gardener's Supply would be to offer this rocker with TWO wide arm rests - make the book pocket optional. Also - offer some type of foot rest or ottoman to go with this rocker - I had to get two ottomans from Garden Ridge Pottery to go with my rocker set.
Other than that, it's a PERFECT rocker!

these chairs look fantastic on my front porch! they are a classic style and mimic natural wicker well without up-keep and weathering. they are large but that makes them comfortable, my little dog even sits on the side arm while I read. they are super easy to assemble, only the rockers need to be attached. I highly recommend them, they are worth the price.

we placed two of the readers rockers on our back porch. everything out there gets dusty and moldy as we live in a subtropical climate...but the rockers stay pristine! They seem to repel dust and mildew! I have never had a PVC set before but I don't think I will ever buy natural wicker again for outdoor use, even under a porch. I am sold on the PVC now. We do not keep the cushions outside, they aren't really built to last outdoors in our climate, though they are extremely nice and I have gotten many compliments on the chairs and cushions. A very well made set. It really pairs nicely with my traditional Louisiana plantation style home
