The earthy, muted colors of these lightweight polypropylene planters mimic the aged patinas of copper and iron. Antique pots from an Italian villa inspired their embossed designs, but they're actually thoroughly modern in function and material. Extra large soil capacity and a built-in, 1-gallon water reservoir ensure your plants stay moist without daily attention.

In addition to having to make holes for drainage it needs holes for the water in the reservoir to get to the soil. There's no wick or premade holes or directions about it.
Otherwise a great item. We have 8 and very pleased with them. A bit on the expensive side.

I've had the coordinating larger planters for the past 5 years and have loved them. They are on my patio and I use them to grow herbs each summer. They stay outside all winter and are subjected to Wisconsin's harsh weather, yet they still look beautiful. I had purchased a couple of ceramic vases last summer, but they cracked over the winter and had to be replaced with more durable pots. I highly recommend these pots - they look great and are super durable!

I bought this for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Their climate is mild, so it should be OK. I'm in a frozen zone from Nov-April, so I couldn't have anything except annuals in it. But it's pretty, and best of all, self-watering for those dry summer weeks.

Hard to figure out how the Auto Watering system was suppose to be set up. Did not make sense. Ended up disgarding the "Guts" the 1 gal watering parts and just used the pot and water the plant my self weekly or when needed. There was insufficent room to keep it in the bottom of the pot and make the plant fit.

All my hanging pots are the self watering kind. I travel allot, and am gone for weeks. I have a gardener, who waters while I'm gone, but no gardener is as faithful about plant care as you are, so these self watering pots help to reduce the effects of less then faithful watering. I like them so much I've got ten of them.

I kept forgetting to water my plants in my front porch pot due to my busy schedule. This product saved time, stress and the plants.

I had previously purchased a self-watering window box with great results, so did not have any reservations about ordering these pots. Unlike the window box, there is nothing self-watering about the pots themselves; they come with self-watering kit parts. My pots arrived with a detailed instruction manual including pictures and I was able to confidently assemble them (including drilling a drain hole in the bottom) by myself in a short amount of time. The pots look beautiful and work so well in our hot, dry climate! Time will tell how well the pots resist fading in the Colorado sunshine, but for now I am very satisfied.

At first it was hard to decide if I needed to drill a hole in the bottm of the container. One instruction said to another said not to. Had to call the company twice to get this straightened out. Otherwise it is easy to take care of. Just pot the flowers ,water and watch them grow.

The Ravello planters look so real you would never know they aren't real pottery.

Looks good. Could use better instructions on how to insert perforated plate into vase.
