I used the supports in one of the 8 raised beds I bought from Gardener's Supply this year. I used the tall tomato supports for tomatoes, and the smaller vegetable supports for peppers and a cherry tomato. I planted pole beans and bush beans by the pea fence--we'll see how that works. The garden looks so tidy and professional--I hope it works well.

These appear to be very sturdy and look like they will last for many seasons. I wish they came in more than one color. They are all green.

I got a late start on my garden, so the plants are not very tall yet. The beans are climbing the fence and the tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and eggplants are starting to climb the other supports. All I had to do was push the supports into the soil and plant the vegetables. I looked in local garden supply centers and could not find anything like these products.

I haven't had a square foot garden since the 80's.
Last fall my husband made me one. Look at it, all ready to go. The hold up is I'm waiting for the soil test results and custom fertilizer. I figure I may as well go for the best possible results.
However, I planted some sweet peas, just could not wait!
As we live in Littleton Colorado, the weather changes often with extremes. It's a challenge to grow anything!
