My backyard garden area is on a slight slope and has some clay. I used these to put a small raised area in my garden for a new Rhododendron plant. Still worked great with the slope. I did pour some gravel under and around the base of it to allow water to go through. Great product! When I went to the lumber yard to get the wood, the sales rep said he has been trying to get the lumber company to stock these. He also thought they are great.

The raised bed corner brackets are great to construct a flower or vegetable garden anywhere in my back yard. Made the bed with 2" x 8" x 8 ft. treated boards and filled with compost and top soil. Also one can relocate the bed with little effort.

The description of the corners should state that they will not fit "rough" cut lumber. I had to spend a great deal of time triming my 2x12's so they would slip into the corners. Wish I had known.

I have used this product to install 2 4x4 and 3 3x3 beds and plan to add more beds for the 2012 season. I love them. Cheaper option than purchasing an entire kit. My only complaint is that you can count on busting a knuckle or two when constructing your bed.

I used this product to build a garden for a client. It was the largest project I have done to date. It made the entire process go much more smoothly, and quickly. Time was of the essence as winter approached. Both my client and I are extremely pleased with these corners and the raised beds that we built using them.
