    Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

With "easy to use" there is a caveat: we needed a mallet because they did not easily fit on our pieces of wood. With "durable" there is another caveat: the plastic caps are a bit flimsy and one is already cracked. But these are otherwise very cool and still much easier than trying to build the boxes myself!

A standard 2"X doesn't fit! You have to chisel the end of the board so it will fit into the slot! It is a horrible product, unless you are up for extra work!

              Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The brackets were great. The wood was real, i.e., it was not always true. I used treated wood for longevity. Most of the boards were straight and the screws went in just fine, but there were ones that were not easy to get into the brackets and there were some screws that wished to go in crooked so only made it most of the way in. As with any project, it was that last 10% that took the longest. Overall, I was pleased with the results. I am looking forward to good food this summer and a colorful garden.

              Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

We built our first raised beds last spring using the raised bed corners from Gardeners. It was a breeze to put two beds together and we grew tons of stuff. We are adding a third this year. We ordered the corners and will pick up the boards to assemble within the next two weeks. They are great.

              Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

The corners are strong and well designed except for one thing: I found it difficult to use them with the two drilled holes in each flange. With the lumber I have available, I could have used more holes to fix the lumber securely.

              Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

Raised bed corners are really wonderful. Just need to sell them in sets of four and at better price. Also need to bring bed corners to hardware store as I've found that not all lumbers are milled to the size that bed corner fits. Had to go to two different lumber stores to find right thickness.

              Comments about Raised Bed Corners:

I created a raised bed for my daughter who had recently lost her husband. She wanted a garden space and while this was a great idea, strong, and in theory, easy to use, buying standard 2 x 12 lumber proved to be a giant issue. The ends of each of the four sides had to be milled down to fit into the corners. The corners are approximately 1/8" to narrow for standard lumber yard wood. I suppose you could have the entire board milled down to fit, but I chose to mill each end to fit. It was time consuming and handling the boards alone proved difficult because of their length and weight. Had the corners been slightly wider, several hours of back breaking work could have been avoided.

Once the wood fit, the corners went on nicely and created a very strong raised bed. We even were able to move it from one location to another because of the corner's strength. After it was properly located, and filled, the garden grew beautifully and will hold up for many years.

Fix the dimensions and this product would be perfect.
